You can kill bed bugs in pillows by putting them in the freezer for a day or two! And wash bed linen hot - 60c or more. Other natural ways - get rid of the carpets and soft furnishings. Have wood or laminated floors, venetian blinds instead of curtains and use washable in hot loose covers on sofas and the like with a dust bed bugs- proof layer underneath.

Best way to kill the bed bugs in a carpet is to get rid of the carpet. Thick hairy carpets are a haven for dust and bed bugs, practically impossible to keep clean. Today's fashionable thick hairy carpets with thick pad underneath hurt my feet, in addition to being bad for anybody with respiratory problems. Be busy with the vacuum cleaner and use one which filters it's output well so you aren't recycling the bed bugs. Wet dust instead of dry dust - and wash the duster in hot.
